Life is not easy to go through or think through for anyone. It's not bout money, its not about popularity and we have to get past it. Do you have goals? Do you want to re-focus your priorities? A person who is in a position you admire and has the knowledge or experience of whats needed for you to be successful... Yeah them. Anyone at any age can reach out to someone who is willing to be a guide for you. Where do you start?
Think about these questions:
Who do you know?
Are you willing to set aside time to speak and do whats needed?
Is that person willing to be patient and consistent with you?
How much of their time and effort do you need?
Nurturing a relationship of growth can be frustrating, will you see it through?
Investing in yourself is an add on to what the mentor is sharing, right?
Are you willing to pay for their time?
Will a life coach help?
We have to be aware that people who you admire have things to do. Be ready and aware of what you need. We all can use a bit of guidance and mentors who want to help are gems. Network in spaces where people you admire will be. Go through your Linkedin, we cant wait in unknown spaces hoping someone of value will walk through. There are amazing people in our circle speak up and stop leaving ideas on the back burner.
